7 Days Tanzania Safari – Arusha, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey while preparing for the exciting safari adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the town or simply enjoy the lodge facilities. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin your scenic journey towards Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, local villages, and the Ngorongoro highlands before entering the vast Serengeti plains.

Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge or camp. The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge.

Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

The Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year and is home to the famous Great Wildebeest Migration. After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Often referred to as one of Africa’s natural wonders, the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife within its enclosed ecosystem.

You may spot lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by spectacular scenery before ascending back to your lodge later in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro region and drive back to Arusha.
